Falmouth located on the southwest part of Cape Cod on Buzzards Bay.

Falmouth is a busy town that has a lots to offer for vacationers. Parts of it are secluded quite and yet just a mile or two drive you can be in downtown and catch a ferry from Falmouth or Woods Hole to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket.

Woods Hole is located in Falmouth noted for it’s Oceanographic Institution, the Marine Biological Laboratory, and the Woods Hole Research Center.

Woods Hole is the center for ferry’s going to Martha’s Vineyard and Nantucket. The Steam Ship Authority located in Woods Hole is the only ferry that carry both passengers and autos to Nantucket and Martha’s Vineyard. The ferries go from Woods Hole to Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven in Martha’s Vineyard. You better make reservations if you want to take an auto.

Falmouth annual 7 mile road race in August started in the 70’s with a couple hundred runners and today has over 10,000.

Woods Hole Inn – Located at the tip of the peninsula, Woods Hole is loaded with waterfront restaurants, quaint local shops. Plenty of activities within walking distance,  aquarium, whale watching, Shining Sea bike path, art galleries, two beaches. Walk to Steamship Authority ferries.

Cape Cod Campresort & Cabins – If your looking for woods and camps then this is the place. You can rent a RV type cabin, RV campers are welcome, tent sites. Plenty to do,  pool, private beach, lake swimming, recreation hall, walking path, biking and more. If you like the outdoors this place is a must.
